MARYLEBONE PIED A TERRE
We worked alongside Patrick and Rosie architects and UTLL contractors we completely re-designed a tired and dark apartment full of potential. The space is compact but we managed to incorporate two good sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a lovely open plan dining, kitchen and living room perfect for our sociable clients. We made the roof into a terrace with a glass extension sun room perfect for enjoying warm summer evenings. The material palette was fresh and modern with accents of bronze metal detailing, specialist marble and wallpapers made for areas of interest and texture. Special interest is the bespoke vanity in the master bathroom and the Japanese inspired screen headboard in the master bedroom. Overall the finished result is an apartment that flows really nicely and is a breath of fresh air.
Regent's Park
Stuart Carlisle was commissioned to fully re-design a promising but tired apartment with stunning views overlooking Regent's Park. We were asked to provide a turn-key package which re-addressed all elements from the interior architecture, the bathrooms, kitchen, through to options for bespoke furniture and joinery, soft furnishings, artwork and accessories. Our client made a bold investment for her family and together we helped achieve their vision for a smart, yet comfortable, design-led apartment. A keen entertainer we designed a slick home bar and an elegant and sociable entertaining space, whilst the master suite at the end of the property became a relaxing haven. Art Deco detailing was included in the bespoke joinery as a nod to the original building features and layering of soft and rich tones and subtle textures help create a warm and inviting home.
Islington
We were approached by a young family who had recently moved into a property in Islington following a move from Turkey. The house had recently been renovated in a stark contemporary fashion and lacked personality or historical features for which similar properties in the area are famous. Our client really only had one brief which was to make it feel like home for her and her family. As a result we played with colour, pattern and texture teaming mid century modern classics with new bespoke furniture and built in joinery to give a sense of warmth, familiarity and fun. A home to be fully enjoyed and lived in by the whole family.
Chelsea
Stuart Carlisle were delighted to be asked by this young couple to design their newly purchased first family home in the heart of Chelsea. Longevity was key so we presented a timeless scheme with a focus on creating a large sociable family space along side a more formal reception area. The client had a great eye for design and was keen to be involved in the whole process. We were thrilled to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure we fully met her precise brief. We re-worked the interior layout to breathe natural light and life into their beautiful property and incorporated new classic architectural features, re-instating limestone fireplaces, introducing stunning herringbone timber floor, bespoke joinery and dramatically transforming the staircase by reinstating a simple french-polished handrail.
BELGRAVIA
We were asked by our Regents Park client to re-design her parent’s London home in the heart of Belgravia. Our brief was to create a warm and updated home fit for entertaining, a home bar was number one on the desired list! We designed a full furniture package for the family home working with some beautiful antique pieces and artwork from our client’s private collection and re-hauled the interior architecture playing to the strengths of the original building features.
